TY Law and Beauty Modules
Last week the Transition Year Students attended Law and Beauty Modules on both Wednesday and Thursday. The Beauty Module educated us in four main areas: Personal Development, Personal Etiquette, Career Planning and Personal Grooming. By the end of the day we had been transformed into confident, well mannered young ladies.
In the Law Module we spent the morning learning about the Legal System and the infamous Joe O’Reilly case. Then we faced a riveting murder trial down at the mock courts in the Science block. Roles were handed out and the case was presented to the jury an hour later. Next week we will be taking a First Aid Course, heading to the Eco Adventure Centre and to W5 in Belfast.
