Congratulations to the senior soccer team on winning the first match of the season. As we start our annual cup campaign, we are all delighted with a 5-1 victory over St. Olivers of Drohgeda, at home in Alex. The opposition was very strong, with a determined attack on their side kicking off the game. However, we fought back and the team all played wonderfully with our newcomers, Catalina and Caroline making their presence felt from the start. Our win was cemented by spectacular goals in both halves by Emily Beatty, Aisling Nugent and Caroline Healy.
