Alexandra College would like to extend a huge welcome to all our European visitors. The school is currently taking part in an exciting Comenius Project with seven other countries.
This week we welcome groups of teachers and students from these countries into our school and our homes. There are teachers from Turkey, Italy, France, Portugal, Romania, Greece and Poland and students from Italy, Portugal, Greece, Romania and Poland. Students from 1st year, 3rd year and Transition year are kindly hosting these students and activities have been organised for them over the next few days.
The Comenius group have developed an online blog which the students will contribute to over two years. It takes the form of a diary that will serve as a snapshot of the thoughts and opinions of teenagers across Europe. We hope to publish this diary in book format at the end of the two years.
