Congratulations to Emma Skelly and Tess Higgins on getting through to the National Conference of the European Youth Parliament. Emma and Tess were selected to represent the school from over 400 students who competed in the Leinster regional conference a few weeks ago.
Congratulations to Anna Nicholls, Beth Milofsky and Hannah Bloom-Teskey for progressing to the quarter finals of the Denny Leinster Schools’ Debating Competition. In the upcoming round they will be debating the Fine Gael-Labour coalition and media coverage of politician’s lives.
Congratulations to Jane O’Connor who has progressed through to the quarter final of the Junior Leinster Debating competition after taking part in a debating in UCD on the motion ‘This House Would Legalise the Use of All Performance Enhancing Drugs in Sport’.
