This week the Filmmaking Module hosted the 8th annual Film Festival and screened ten short films over both lunchtimes each day.
Hundreds of students from all the year groups attended the screenings in the Lecture Theatre. Students brought their lunches with them and each person who attended was able to vote for the audience prize.
The standard of movies produced by this group was fantastic, from documentary to music video and short films, it was clear to see that the girls in this module had worked very hard.
There was a panel of judges who attended the screenings each day, made up of students from each year group and a small number of teachers. Each judge voted for their favourite film in a number of specified categories.
The Lecture Theatre was transformed into a mini Hollywood for the Oscar Ceremony which took place on Wednesday afternoon for all 4th Year, the overall winners are below. Well done to the Filmmaking Students.
