Looking for something to do this Bank Holiday weekend? We created a list of 5 things that are happening in Dublin which include indoor and outdoor activities, to accommodate for the ever changing weather!
1. @igersdublin and @connector Festival – Photography & Social Media
The festival will take place this Saturday, August 5th in The Tara Building, Tara Street, Dublin 2.
The event is part of the first ever #IgersDublinFest and will feature a multi-photo exhibition by eleven of Dublin’s top Instagramers, a photo installation in aid of Pieta House, music, food, drinks and a guaranteed good atmosphere! The event will run from 12.00pm – 6.00pm and entry is free.
2. EPIC – The Irish Emigration Museum
This is an interactive experience that will guide you through the stories of Irish emigration around the world, from early times to modern day. Located in the stunning vaults of the CHQ building in Dublin’s Docklands, the original departure point for so many of Ireland’s emigrants, EPIC brings these stories to life. You will also have the opportunity to trace your Irish ancestry with the help of the Irish Family History Centre, which is also located at EPIC.
The museum is open daily from 10.00am – 6.45pm, last entry is at 5.00pm.
