sorry for the long and winding title, just to make things clear and detailed
as we all know, last week we didn’t meet up for computer club, so yesterday was our fourth meeting.
since it’s the day before funday, we decided to have some fun.
we borrowed some broomsticks from 6th years and played with some video graphics with the green screen.
and of course, we have loads of fun.
but at the same time, we did not forget our project on making games and apps for iPad or iPhone (well at least i didn’t, not too sure about the others
)
so, join us, and share the fun.
Taking video of members on broomstick.
Watching the edited video by Mr. Redmond

What we did this week:
Exciting news – Computer Club is welcoming three new members; Kate Campbell, Sadbh Byrne and Kirsten Levermore all joined us this week, to participate as new members. We hope they enjoy their time in Computer Club and we look forward to seeing some of their projects over the coming year!

So, this week we finished our little video (which you can check out in the post below), and we also started to work with a program called GameSalad, we are going to create some apps and hopefully you’ll be able to download them or just have some fun here in our blog!
Also, we had some new member this week and to make things even better, we got free chocolate too!! Anyway, I don’t know about you, but creating apps, having lots of fun and getting free chocolate seems to be a really good deal to me, so if I were you I would definitely go to computer club every Wednesday after school.
See you there!!

Okay! So today we had the honor of downloading and using the program, Xtranormal.
Xtranormal is a program where you can make an animated short film. We messed around with it for a while and we then decided what we would be doing for this year.
This year we shall be learning programming concepts and making an iPad app.
