Write, Direct, Shoot, Edit
In the Videography module, students have the opportunity to write, direct, shoot and edit their own short film.
They will learn to explore the art and technique of visual storytelling and develop their writing skills in the areas of story, structure, character, conflict and dialogue.
Students will participate in practical classes covering directing, writing, cinematography, production, and editing.
They will then work in small groups to produce their own film, gaining hands-on experience in pre-production and post-production.
Their film is then shown on Transition Year Performance Night (as part of that range of modules) and will also be entered into the TG4 and Fresh Film Festival competitions.
A big thank you to the videography students who made a great contribution to our updated college website.
