Alexandra College Junior School is a single sex school catering for girls from 4 to 12 years situated in Milltown, Dublin 6.
The school can accommodate up to 185 girls who will start their education in the lower / upper kindergartens and J1 class (Preparatory Department) for three years and continue on in the senior classes J2 to J6 for five years. The Junior School is a feeder school to the secondary day and boarding school on the campus.
The Junior School provides a holistic education based on the principles of Friedrich Froebel, that is child-centred and recognises the various stages of child development. It follows the National Curriculum as set out by the Department of Education & Science with a great emphasis on cross-curricular and interactive, creative play learning.
