Curriculum

The curriculum is symbolised by the college crest of a shield divided by a cross (ethos) and four equal parts of: a book (academics), a ball (sports, a palette (visual arts) and a harp (music). Each aspect of the crest is considered equally as important to one other.

Music
Music plays an important role in the Junior School and the girls receive 60 to 80 min. per week musical tuition consisting of a singing and a percussion class. Classes J5 and J6 participate in choir singing and from J2 onwards there is a provision made for instrumental tuition.

The Junior School has its own choir and orchestra that regularly perform.

Art and Craft
Art and craft are used throughout the curriculum to enhance the accomplished work using a wide variety of materials and techniques. Finished work is put on display in classrooms and throughout the school.

Cross
The cross on the crest represents the Christian ethos that prevails in the school. The pupils attend a Christian assembly each morning and are taught bible stories, prayers and hymns.
