Sodexo has been providing quality catering services at Alexandra College for more than 20 years.
All the staff are dedicated to our site and we have 11 full time and 1 part time staff working on a 7 day roster. The team is led by Manager Luc Cros, his assistant Bridget King and his Head-Chef Noreen Hurley.
SODEXO INTRODUCES THE “FOR YOU…” CONCEPT
“for you” is Sodexo’s food offer for secondary schools. This offer is about providing students with consistently good nutrition and offering healthy choices at service times, using where appropriate locally sourced (54% of all our food is purchased from Irish suppliers), seasonal products.
“for you” limits the use of fat and salt and it increase fibre in the students diet. This provides the student with healthy choices for breakfast, morning break, lunch, evening teas and snack offer.
“for you” menus are backed up with a unique control systems to ensure that we provide set standards for nutritionally balanced tasty meals.
NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION
Sodexo has produced a series of Healthwise Fact Sheets for our pupils to take away. The fact sheets cover each food group and include information that we hope is of interest to our pupils. You will find a Health and Wellbeing Board in the Dining-Room Entrance showing all the Facts Sheets, making it easy for the pupils to view and select.
