Business Studies is an exciting, interesting and relevant subject at Junior Certificate level. We learn about the business world around us, aspects of how business effects are personal lives and how businesses record financial information.
Our 2nd Years have been busy. They created their dream service firm in groups of 3 or 4 and came up with a name, location and an explanation of the rationale behind their business choice.
They considered streams of income and sources of expenditure and the assets and liabilities that would be appropriate in their businesses. Then they were in a position to prepare an Income & Expenditure Account and a Balance Sheet for their service firm.
Finally they put it altogether on an exciting poster working to a tight deadline. Check out what they did below.
