The Traditional Band is open to all students of the College. They rehearse once a week during lunchtime. The aim is to give the students an opportunity to learn and experience traditional Irish music repertoire through performing.
The highlight of the year is when we organise and perform in a concert for the whole school during Seachtain na Gaeilge. We also represent the school by performing in other schools outside Alexandra College and collaborate with them. The Traditional Group is directed by Mrs. Orla Kelly.
