Pupils have the opportunity to participate in cross country/athletics here in the school.Any pupil can get involved in cross country after school. Practice takes place three times a week, every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
While the emphasis is on participation and enjoyment, there are, however, four age groups in which pupils enter competition races for. The four age groups are Minor, Junior, Intermediate and Senior.
The competitions that the school enters are Leinster Cross Country League, the D.C.U. Invitational, the East Leinster Cross Country Championships and the Leinster Cross Country Championships.
In recent years, the athletics teams have enjoyed considerable success at both provisional and national level.
