Soccer
Alexandra College offers soccer as a sports option both during school, as games classes, and after school- both played at either a competitive level or a participatory level.
We currently have four representative teams in the school- First Year , Under 14, Under 16 and Seniors.
Each team is entered into a FAIS League and Cup Competition, the Cup winners going on to represent Leinster in the FAIS All- Ireland Cup competition.
In recent years, we have enjoyed a lot of success at each age-group level, winning both League and Cup competitions at various levels. Furthermore, we have had girls from the school play for both Leinster and Ireland representative teams at different age- group levels.
Our training schedule is:
Monday 4pm – 6pm for Under 16’s
Tuesday 4pm – 6pm for Seniors
Wednesday 4pm – 6pm for Under 14’s
Thursday 4pm- 6pm for First Years
