Food Hampers Needed for Mrs. Carr’s Home

There is a long-standing tradition of giving between Alexandra College and Miss Carr’s Home on Northbrook Road. Each year we deliver hampers to the home for distribution among the residents and those in need in the community. We would appreciate if each family could donate a food hamper for this worthy cause. It can be made up of a cardboard box covered in festive wrapping paper and no perishable items. Everyday essentials can be included as well as a luxury item such as a tin of biscuits or box of chocolates. Please do not include any items containing alcohol.

The hampers can be left in the Junior School Reception area from next Monday, December 3rd until the morning of Friday, 7th December. The J6 girls will deliver the hampers to Miss Carr’s Home on Monday, 10th December.

We would really appreciate your support on this very worthy cause.

Thank you all for the amazing support you gave to our annual Christmas Toy and Book Fair today.  The girls had a ball! The Christmas tea towels were a big hit as were the very special Late Late Toy Show Treat bags. We are very grateful for all the donations of toys, books, uniforms, and raffle prizes. A big thank you to all the mums who helped decorate the Gym, run the fun games area etc. The J6 girls were once again super at setting up the Fair, selling all the items and then cleaning up the Gym. It was a great team effort from everyone involved. Enjoy the Late Late Toy Show and of course the special treat bags with your families tonight!

J1 Lead Assembly

The J1 girls sang an alphabet song about how great school is and told us that they are very thankful for the wonderful education that they receive in Alexandra College. Well done, girls!

Christmas Panto – Preschool to J1

Our younger students sang along and clapped enthusiastically as they watched all the problems Sammy Snowflake had with his toys. It was great fun for everyone. The girls were delighted to see Mrs. Clause and her friends back in Alexandra College.
