Made in Dagenham tickets on sale now! Only 5 more sleeps to the opening night!
The Transition year musical ‘Made in Dagenham’’ will take place on Wednesday and Thursday the 23rd and 24th of January 2019 in the Henrietta White Centre at 7.30pm. Tickets are €15 for adults and €10 for students, tickets will be on sale at lunchtime in the concourse.

The musical ‘Made in Dagenham’ is set in the 1960s at the Ford factory in Dagenham.  It is based on the true story of the strike of the Ford sewing machinists in 1968. The main character, Rita O’Grady who is played by our very own Carla Moran, speaks up and fights for equal pay for women.  It is an inspiring musical about the struggle of being a woman at this time.

In this musical we are lucky to have nine boys from Gonzaga College performing, both schools are very excited for the musical and can’t wait to come along and see it.  There will also be a number of our first, second and fifth year students performing in the musical and everyone’s favourite teacher Mr Friel will also be playing a cameo role as Mr Buckton the Latin teacher.
