Congratulations to some of last year’s TY Filmmaking students who received some great news last week, their short film – ‘One of Us’ has been selected for screening at the NOISE flicks Film Festival 2018. Their film will be screened in the IMC Cinema in Tallaght on Friday 26th October at 8pm. There are nine awards categories on the night with cash prizes on offer.

This is a fantastic achievement as there were a large number of entries and very limited time for films to be screened.

Best of luck to Deirdre Luo, Lucy McDermott, Brooke Grey, Cliodhna Coakley, Halle Steele Maria Nieto and Maria Camino.

As part of the NOISE Flicks Film festival Sthiti Padhy from 6th year will be attending a workshop on documentary filmmaking with Vanessa Gildea (lecturer IADT) and Deirdre Luo will be attending a workshop on making a short film with Dave Tynan (director Dublin Old School).
