Here in Alexandra College Dublin, we have been passionate about girls' and womens' education since our founding in 1866.

Girls' education is the future of the world. We need women to inhabit every single area of life so that we can make the world a better place than it has been in the past and heretofore. So we produce wonderful girls and young women by the time they're 18, who are ready to go out into the world to be assertive without being aggressive, to stand up for what they believe in, to be whoever they need to be and whoever they want to be. To be respectful, to be kind, and to know how to enjoy themselves. We have girls who have character, but they're also characters. We teach girls to live good lives, not just to be good girls.
